Dr. Skylor Zhitian Zhang is a creativity specialist and coach at the University of Tübingen, with over a decade of expertise in creativity research, gifted education, and talent development. She received her doctoral degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. Her creativity research has been featured in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Creative Behavior and the Creativity Research Journal.
At the University of Tübingen, Dr. Zhang lectures on various topics including creativity skills, entrepreneurship, and social innovation. Beyond her roles as a researcher and lecturer, she is an ICF-trained coach with extensive experience in mentoring early-career and prospective researchers. She collaborates with platforms such as the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and Alumniportal Deutschland to provide valuable support and individualized coaching to international students and researchers.
Since 2022, Dr. Zhang has led the EU-FairPlay project, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. As project manager, she oversees the European research network dedicated to addressing educational equity through innovative game-based approaches. Her innovative educational program has been recognized with the "InnoSpark: Idea Challenge" award at the University of Tübingen.
